This purpose of this guide to help student-athletes, their families and athletics administrators understand NCAA transfer rules. This guide addresses transferring from Division I, II, III and NAIA schools to another NCAA four-year institution. You can find the general transfer rules and exceptions here. Please also work with the compliance office at your institution to certify your transfer eligibility.
